Smart UK has announced the launch of its own ‘smart EV Car Grant', bringing additional savings of £1,500 to buyers of the smart range.

Applied on top of the existing manufacturer offer of £2,000 off the smart #1, for example, the grant delivers a total of £3,500 in savings.

With zero per cent APR available, prospective customers can enjoy the reliability and convenience of a #1 for £315 per month with a £1,461 deposit.

The all-electric smart #1 and #3 deliver ranges of up to 273 and 283 miles respectively with the cars costing from £31,495 and £32,950.

The models will be joined on the smart range by the new #5 midsize SUV in Q4 of this year.
