Fiat in the pink for
summer
FIAT aims to get in the pink for summer with a new soft-top model.
The 500 Pink, itself only launched in January, is about to welcome a convertible cousin in the shape of the 500C Pink.
Even more limited than the hatchback version - just 300 examples will be available in the UK compared with 500 of the hatchbacks - the 500C Pink adds a new twist to the chic supermini.
One of several limited edition Fiat 500 models planned for this year, the 500C Pink will certainly appeal to people who want to be noticed - while enjoying fresh air motoring.
Based on the 1.2 Pop specification, the new model features the likes of special paintwork, 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome trim, side rubbing strip with 500 badge, body coloured door mirrors, leather steering wheel and a special pink key cover plus Blue&Me infotainment.
With an on the road price of £13,500 - the 500C Pink costs £1,200 more than a regular 1.2 Pop convertible, yet includes £1,870 worth of extra kit.
"We reacted to customers' requests earlier this year when we gave them the 500 Pink, and I believe we will find a new group of fans with the 500C version of this limited edition car," says Fiat's marketing director Elena Bernardelli.
