TWO sporty new models have been announced by Renault with both due on sale later in the year.
A Gordini version of the Wind Roadster will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March while a limited edition Megane coupe will be joining the line up in April.
Like the Twingo and Clio Gordini models the Wind Roadster Gordini will be finished in a distinctive blue paint job with twin white stripes.
It will also be fitted with a gloss black roof and 17-inch black alloys as well as featuring Gordini-branded trim inside.
The special Megane Coupe will be called the Monaco GP and follows on from a similar style job Renault launched on the Laguna Coupe last year.
Based on the coupe in Dynamique TomTom trim the Monaco GP has sporty body kit and a special interior with grey upholstery. It will be available either as a 19.-litre diesel or 1.4-litre petrol.
Renault is also planning to release a revised version of the Laguna Coupe Monaco GP in the spring.
Prices for all three models have still to be announced.
