special SX4
SUZUKI has launched a new special edition SX4 model called the X-EC, which goes on sale later this month at £13,430.
It based on the popular SZ4 grade which includes metallic paint, and is available in two wheel drive format with a 120PS 1.6-litre petrol engine and manual transmission only.
The new model offers a decent stack of standard equipment including colour sat-nav with Bluetooth, USB port, unique design alloy wheels, electric folding door mirrors with built in turn signal lamps, rear privacy glass and a new seat fabric design.
Those unfamiliar with the SX4 can bank on a five-door hatchback that blends the characteristics of compact cars like the Swift, with those of lightweight SUVs like the Grand Vitara.
The Euro 5 emissions 1.6-litre petrol engine can propel the two-wheel drive SX4 from 0-62mph in 10.7 seconds while combined cycle fuel consumption is 45.6mpg. The emissions figure is 141g/km.
X-EC is available in three metallic colours - Galactic Grey, Cosmic Black Pearl and Cool White Pearl.
