Citroen turns techno
with C5
CITROEN has turned techno with a blend of upmarket kit and fresh styling for its C5 saloon and Tourer models.
Since their launch in 2008, the C5 pair have together sold more 400,000 cars worldwide - and now the emphasis is on more elegance plus an even stronger personality.
So latest models now feature the French brand's new chevrons along with the option of 17-inch ‘Egée' alloy wheels on Exclusive models and a new pearlescent body colour called Guaranja Brown.
And these Exclusive models can be specified with a new part-leather upholstery and fresh interior design.
Citroen has also introduced a new eMyWay sat-nav system combined with a Connecting Box - jack socket, USB port and Bluetooth - as part of a new Techno Pack option, and on the C5 Tourer, the system can be hooked up to a reversing camera.
The new C5 range costs from £19,895 for the entry-level C5 Saloon HDi 115 manual VTR and £20,995 for the equivalent Tourer model. Techno Packs, available across the entire C5 range, cost £700.
