Fiat Punto Jet Black

A MEAN and moody new limited edition version of its popular Punto supermini has been launched by Fiat.

Named the Punto Jet Black and limited to just 300 cars, the model is designed to appeal to a young, sporty audience - with the emphasis on value for money.

The three-door car, powered by the brand's 1.4-litre 77bhp petrol engine, has a price tag of £12,000 and is also available with a zero per cent PCP offer for £99 a month.

Features include black metallic paint, Jet Black badging, matt black stripes and 17-inch, 12-spoke, smoked Sportline alloy wheels.

Buyers also get a standard spec which includes the likes of body coloured rear spoiler and side skirts, leather steering wheel and gear knob, automatic climate control, dark tinted privacy glass and electric front windows.

That's in addition to rear parking sensors, sports suspension, adaptive cornering fog lights, cruise control, Start & Stop, voice-controlled Blue&Me multimedia system and five airbags.

Fiat UK marketing director Elena Bernardelli said: "The Punto Jet Black has striking black exterior details which will certainly get you noticed.

"With its distinctive styling, comprehensive specification and affordable pricing, I am sure it will be very popular with younger customers."
