FIAT is continuing to expand its Tipo range with the introduction of two new model ranges - one with a sportier flair and the other with an emphasis on connectivity.
The new Sport and Mirror models join the existing Easy, Street, Lounge and S-Design models, the latter of which is now available with a 1.4-litre petrol engine.
They are priced from £16,155 for the Tipo Mirror and £19,255 for the Sport in hatchback style while the Mirror model is also available as an estate priced from £17,155.
Mirror grade replaces the previous Easy Plus trim and comes with Fiat's Uconnect seven-inch touchscreen system which is compatible with all smartphones and offers full sat nav capability plus live updates.
Sport models are based on the S-Design versions of the Tipo and come with a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, a rear diffuser, spoiler and black door handles.
S-Design Tipos are also getting some tweaks with black fog-light bezels, mirror caps, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels while inside there is a new black trim.
Like the Mirror trim vehicles they also come with the Uconnect set up.
Both the Tipo Mirror and the Sport are fitted with the 1.4-litre petrol engine with either 95 or 120bhp on tap which gives them fuel economy of between 37 and 41mpg.
Mirror trim is also available with the 1.6-litre MultiJet diesel engine which gives a better official fuel return of up to 53.3mpg with emissions of 113g/km and is priced from £20,110.
The Tipo range now comprises 19 models in hatch and estate styles and runs from £14,905 to £21,860.
