A SERIES of special edition models is on the way from Jeep to mark the brand's 80th anniversary next year.
The company first produced the Willys MB for use in the Second World War in 1941 and has gone on to become a world leader in 4x4 models.
To celebrate the production landmark the company is planning to release a series of vehicles including the Wrangler, Cherokee, Renegade and Grand Cherokee in special anniversary trims.
The vehicles will feature distinct design flourishes and features inside and out, including special seats, wheels and commemorative badging.
Powered by internal combustion engines and Jeep plug-in hybrid system, they will also feature advanced technology and safety features and will showcase Jeep's 4x4 capability.
Jeep 80thanniversary special edition models will arrive in showrooms from late 2020 and early 2021. The precise line up of anniversary models for the UK is still to be confirmed.
