MINI is launching a special version of the Countryman with a production run limited to just 325 models for the UK.

The Countryman Boardwalk Edition uses either the Cooper 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 136hp or the 2.0-litre Cooper S engine delivering 178hp and each will be available with an automatic or manual gearbox.

Finished in a blue metallic paint job - also used on the MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition - the Countryman special has 19-inch wheels, an automatic tailgate, LED headlights and rear lights as standard.

The car also has a special Boardwalk logo on the vehicle side scuttles and indicator, door entry strips, cockpit facia and passenger side lower roof.

A range of options are offered as standard, including interior lights pack and the MINI Excitement Pack, which includes MINI logo projection, illuminated door handles and LED mood lighting.

The Boardwalk also has a fully digital display cockpit, automatic headlight activation, rain sensors and cruise control with brake function as well as a sat nav system.

It will be offered in Cooper and Cooper S specifications priced from £31,600 and £33,550 for the manual versions and £33,200 and £35,025 for the auto. It is due for release in January 2021.
