RENAULT is expanding its Zoe range of electric vehicles with the introduction of a new Venture Edition trim.

It will sit between the current Play and Iconic specification levels and will be priced from £28,495 after the Government grant for low emission vehicles.

The Venture Edition models, which come with climate control, front and rear electric windows, and Renault's seven-inch EASY LINK infotainment system with satellite navigation, will be available from mid-January.

As with other Zoes the newcomer can be charged to 80 per cent in an hour and ten minutes and has a range of up to 245 miles on a full charge.

Options include heated seats and steering wheel and 50kW DC charging technology for faster charging times - capable of adding 90 miles of range in 30 minutes.

Safety systems include lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist and an autonomous emergency braking system.
