THEY'RE amongst the most luxurious Range Rovers ever made and, according to the company, the new Range Rover SVAutobiography Ultimate editions represent the pinnacle of Land Rover's luxury SUV family.

Created by Land Rover's SV Bespoke experts at the company's Special Vehicle Operations Technical Centre, the Ultimate editions showcase the full range of personalisation touches that can be applied to the Range Rover with a suite of hand-finished SV Bespoke features.

Distinguished by a new satin-finished Orchard Green paint job with a black roof and copper detailing, the range-topping SV Autobiography Ultimate model costs from £183,706 - but if that's just a tad over-budget, buyers can opt for the more driver-focussed SV Autobiography Dynamic from a mere £147,441.

Based on the long-wheelbase SVAutobiography the Ultimate offers a choice of powertrains, including the 565PS Supercharged V8 petrol engine and the P400e plug-in hybrid, which is capable of up to 25 miles of all-electric driving and provides overall COemissions as low as 75g/km.

Inside there are airline-style heated and cooled semi-aniline leather seats with hot stone massage function, plus calf and footrests for rear occupants. The full-length centre console boasts an integrated Zenith timepiece, refrigerated compartment and deployable tables.

The SV Autobiography Dynamic is based on the standard-wheelbase Range Rover and is only available with the 565PS Supercharged V8 petrol power unit. The suspension geometry and steering calibration have been optimised, ride height has been lowered by 8mm and it also comes with Land Rover's advanced Dynamic Response active roll control system.

Stand-out styling details include forged 22-inch, five spoke gloss dark grey alloy wheels and graphite finished side vents, bonnet finisher, grille and front bumper accents. Inside, a knurled finish for the rotary shift controller, starter button and pedals, plus anodized red paddle shifters, underline the SVAutobiography Dynamic more sporting character.

According to Mark Turner, commercial director of Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations: "Range Rover has defined the luxury SUV segment for more than half a century. These new Ultimate editions elevate that refinement and sophistication even further."
