VOLKSWAGEN'S T-Cross compact SUV is the latest Wolfsburg model to get the Black Edition treatment and is available with a choice of 95 and 110PS one-litre, three-cylinder petrol engines with five and six speed manual or DSG auto gearbox options.
Priced from £21,035, the Black Edition costs £500 more than the SE model on which it is based but comes with spec upgrades which the company says provide a value boost of more than £2,000.
On the outside, it features black roof rails and door mirror housings, black trim across the front grille and bumper and tinted glass from the B-pillar backwards. A set of 17-inch black diamond turned alloys and LED headlights complete the exterior package.
Inside, the black theme continues, with high gloss black and platinum grey decorative inserts in the dashboard, black sports comfort seats and carpet mats front and rear.
The Black Edition spec also provides a boost in driver assistance features with dynamic headlight range control for the LED lights as well as front and rear parking sensors fitted as standard.
If you want to personalise your T-Cross Black Edition even further there's a range of equipment upgrades including a 300-watt, six-speaker and subwoofer sound system for £445, two-zone climate control costing £875 and Volkswagen's digital cockpit which will set you back a further £385.
