CHANGES are being made to the Grand Citroen C4 SpaceTourer line up with entry level Live models being dropped from the range and diesel automatics now available only on top specification versions.

The new-look range will be coming on stream from October and priced from £28,630 for the seven-seat MPV in Sense specification.

Prices for high grade Shine models will start from £30,880 for manual petrol models and top out from £34,125 for eight-speed diesel automatics.

Citroen says the changes reflect customer demand for the SpaceTourer with only ten per cent of buyers opting for Live trim models and 60 per cent going for Shine grade versions.

All SpaceTourers feature active safety brake with forward collision warning, driver attention alert, speed limit recognition and recommendation as well as a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Shine models add a panoramic sunroof and black door mirrors to the exterior styling, as well as xenon headlights which automatically dip to prevent dazzling oncoming road users.

The high grade versions also have an active lane-departure warning system as well as active cruise control with speed limiter and braking function for semi-autonomous motorway driving with a blind-spot monitoring system and automatic parking.

The Grand C4 SpaceTourer range is powered either by 1.4-litre PureTech petrol or 1.2-litre BlueHDi diesel engines both developing 130bhp.
