UPDATES are on the way for Peugeot's top selling 3008 and 5008 SUVs which sees price increases of a few hundred pounds on both models.

The 3008 line up is now priced from £27,905 while the larger 5008 range begins at £30,360.

The changes come as both cars mark five years on sale in the UK in which time the 3008 alone has notched up some 80,000 sales in Britain making it one of the most popular SUVs.

Styling updates include the introduction of gloss black door mirrors on Active Premium, Allure and Allure Premium trim levels to create a sportier look while on the inside a premium cloth with a half leather effect trim complemented by copper coloured stitching is now standard on GT trim.

Both models feature Peugeot's latest generation digital i-Cockpit technology with a 12.3-inch digital head-up instrument panel, a compact steering wheel for improved driving dynamics and, from Allure upwards, a 10-inch high definition capacitive colour touchscreen with 3D Navigation.

The two ranges now top out from £41,190.00 for the 5008 and £46,710 for a plug-in hybrid version of the 3008 which is capable of up to 39 miles of zero emission driving.
