THE all-electric Citroen e-C4 is becoming more affordable with the introduction of a new entry-level trim specification.

A Sense model is joining the line up and will be priced from £28,495 after the Government's £1,500 grant for low emission models.

The new e-C4 range now includes Sense, Shine Edition and Shine Plus'models, with the Sense Plus trim no longer being offered.

Sense trim features LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, power folding mirrors, rear parking sensors and keyless entry and ignition as standard,

Inside equipment includes a 10-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth telephone and audio streaming, DAB digital radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while the front passenger has Citroen's Smart Pad Support system which provides an integrated mount for tablet devices. The car is also fitted with the French brand's Advanced Comfort suspension and seats, as well as dual zone climate control.

Shine Edition specification is also new to the e-C4 range and replaces current Shine models with the newcomer priced from £30,495 after the plug-in grant.

Additional equipment over the Sense grade includes a head-up display, active cruise control and other safety equipment such as night-time object recognition while the range topping Shine Plus trim stays and costs from £34,995.
