PRICES and specifications for the first all-electric Skoda to wear the brand's vRS performance badge have been announced by the Czech car maker.

The Enyaq Coupe iV vRS is due for release in July and will be priced from £51,885.

With an 82kWh battery the coupe has a full charge range of 309 miles and is fitted with motors on the front and rear axle.

Together they deliver 299ps giving the Enyaq Coupe a 0 to 62mph acceleration time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 111mph.

Skoda says that from a fast charger it takes 36 minutes to replenish the battery to 80 per cent capacity.

A full charge from a 7.2kW home wallbox will take around 13 hours.

The car is fitted with a sports chassis that is lower than that on the standard Enqaq Coupe and the steering is also upgraded.

Design highlights include sports front and rear bumpers and gloss black surrounds for the grille, window trim and rear diffuser.

Badges, tailgate lettering and the air curtain trim on the front apron are also finished in black, while the rear bumper adds a full-length red reflector - a design feature shared will all other vRS models. A panoramic glass roof is also standard.

The Enyaq Coupe iV vRS sits on black 20-inch Taurus wheels as standard with 21-inch wheels with an anthracite finish available as an option.

Full LED matrix headlights and Skoda's ‘Crystal Face' which is illuminated by 131LEDs are another feature.

Interior features perforated leather heated sports seats with a dashboard that is upholstered in a leather-look material to match the seats and edged with contrast stitching.

Other standard equipment includes carbon effect inserts on the dashboard and door trim and aluminium pedals, plus LED ambient lighting and an electrically operated boot with virtual pedal.
