ALFA Romeo is introducing its new Giulia and Stelvio Estrema - its the first global special series - to the UK.

The Estrema models are designed to offer a top of the range specification with the combination of technical refinement, driving pleasure and sporting luxury.

Targeted at driving purists, the Estrema cars build on the Veloce specification and are fitted with Alfa Synaptic Dynamic Control (SDC) adaptive suspension and a limited slip differential as standard.

Alfa says the limited slip differential provides stability and high control in all grip conditions, distributing torque and traction even when exiting corners, at high speeds and during acceleration.

The exterior of the cars feature carbon fibre mirror caps and front ‘V' grille, dark tone Estrema badging and five-hole, dark painted 19-inch alloy wheels on the Giulia and 21-inch wheels on the Stelvio.

The same look and feel can be found on the interior where carbon fibre accents highlight the cabin, along with Alcantara and leather seats with red stitching.

The red stitching extends to the dashboard, steering wheel and gear knob to further enhance the exclusive and sporty look. A 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system completes the standard specification.

Both the Giulia and Stelvio Estrema are equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo 280hp petrol engine, while the 2.2-litre turbo diesel 210hp engine is also available on the Stelvio, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Giulia and Stelvio Estrema are priced from £50,579 for the Giulia 280hp turbo petrol and £57,999 for the Stelvio 210hp turbo diesel. The Stelvio 2.0 turbo petrol is priced from £59,999.
