SPECIAL editions of the Maserati Ghibli and Levante are being produced by the Italian company to honour the first woman to qualify for a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The two models have been created in homage to Maria Teresa De Filippiswho took part in the 39thTarga Florio, driving a Maserati A6GCS In October 1955.
She took ninth place overall and went on to become the first woman to compete in Formula 1 in 1958, again in a Maserati.
Maserati says it is the spirit of Maria Teresa De Filippis that have inspired the newFTributo Special Edition, a limited series available for the Ghibli and Levante in two exclusive colours - Arancio Devil and Grigio Lamiera.
