CITROEN'S first electric-only car to be launched in the UK - the e-C4 X crossover SUV - will be priced from £31,995.
With a range of up to 222 miles on a full charge, the car will be available in three trim specifications with the line-up topping out from £35,495 for Shine Plus models.
As with other Citroen models, the range starts with Sense grade which includes the brand's Advanced Comfort seats, a 10-inch touchscreen and keyless entry.
That is followed by Shine models priced from £34,440 which have Citroen's next generation infotainment and navigation system as standard.
Shine variants also come with a head-up display, a reversing camera with top rear vision, automatic intelligent beam headlights, as well as a heated steering wheel while safety equipment includes advanced active safety brake with night-time and cyclist detection and extended traffic sign recognition.
The range-topping Shine Plus versions have Alcantara seats that are heated for the driver and front passenger as well as Citroen's Highway Driver Assist, which includes adaptive cruise control.
At 4.6 metres long the X model is almost an inch longer than the e-C4 EV Citroen released last year and with its boot style rear opening can carry some 510 litres of luggage.
Citroen says that a full charge at home will take around 7.5 hours while an 80 per cent recharge from a rapid charging point can be done in around 30 minutes.
