VOLKSWAGEN is adding a GTX model to its new ID.7 range, joining similar derivatives of the ID.4 and ID.5 all-electric vehicles.

The sporty GTX brand with its all-electric performance models has been part of Volkswagen's portfolio for two years now.

The ID.7 GTX, which will have its world premiere at the IAA mobility trade show held in Munich in September, features a red and black gloss finish which has become the trademark colour of the sub-brand.

With all-wheel-drive the ID.7 GTX will become the flagship of the ID line up.

The ID.7 has been described as upper mid-size limousine and will have a range of up to 435 miles, according to VW.
