THE new Elroq, Skoda'sall-electric compact SUV, will cost from £31,500 when order books open.

Positioned below the Enyaq in Skoda's line-up, the Elroq will become the brand's second all-electric model to be built on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform.

Distilling all the qualities of the Enyaq into a more compact package, the Elroq also takes Skoda's practicality and value to one of the most competitive sectors in the new car market.

It will also be the first Skoda model to feature the brand's striking new ‘Modern Solid' design language - a dramatic new look that will influence the design of future models.

Ahead of order books opening on October 18 2024, Skoda has confirmed UK pricing and specifications for the all-new model.

Four trim grades will be available on the Elroq - SE, SE L, Edition and SportLine, with prices running from £31,500 for the entry-level SE model with a 55kWh battery, up to £41,600 for the range-topping SportLine model equipped with the largest 82kWh battery.

Inside, the SE features Skoda's Loft design selection that comes with fabric and artificial leather upholstery, grey headlining and a two-spoke leather multifunction steering wheel as well as a 13-inch touchscreen display, digital cockpit and single-zone climate control as standard.

The SE also offers a rear-view camera with rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition and blind spot detection.

SE L 60 models are pried from £33,350 and come with a larger 63kWh battery as standard, which has a range of more than 250 miles on a full charge.

It also offers drivers more equipment, including a two-spoke leather heated multifunction steering wheel with paddles for recuperation selection, heated front seats, satellite navigation and Skoda Connect - Infotainment Online and Remote Access with a three year subscription.

There's also dual zone climate control, drive mode select, front parking sensors and preparation for a tow bar.

As with the SE model, the SE L also comes with a six-metre, 32A Type 2 charging cable as standard, along with rapid charging capability of up to 145kW when connected to a suitable DC rapid charger.

The Elroq Edition model costs from £34,450 and comes with two battery options, 60 and 85.

The 63kWh offers more than 250 miles of range while the larger 82kWh pack can deliver up to 360 miles.

Edition models build on the specification of the SE L and add 19-inch alloy wheels, unique dark chrome roof rails and window surround and privacy glass with acoustic side windows.

Edition versions also have travel assist plus, predictive adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, keyless entry, and wireless charging with cooling function. Elroq 85 models can also take advantage of 175kW DC rapid charging capability.

The flagship model of the Elroq range, SportLine is priced from £37,400 and comes with two battery options 60 and 85; a 63kWh or 82kWh battery pack with ranges of up to 258 miles and 355 miles respectively.
