AN SUV with coupe styling is being launched by Korean car maker KGM to mark the brand's 70 anniversary.
The Actyon marks the rebirth of the world's first coupe-style SUV of the same name, which first debuted in 2005.
It priced from £36,995 and available in only one specification which sees it powered by a 1.5-litre turbo engine developing 161bhp giving it a 0-62mph time of 10.8secand a top speed of 119mph.
Fuel economy is said to be 33.1mpg and the Actyon is fitted with a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission.
KGM - formerly SsangYong - is claiming best-in-class load capacity, a 1.5-tonne towing capacity and the Actyon has a 668-litre boot, which expands to 1,568 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Measuring 4.74 metres long, 1.91m wide and 1.68m tall with a 2.68m wheelbase it is bigger than KGM's Torres SUV while the Actyon comes with a dual 12.3-inch digital cluster and infotainment display with TomTom navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and vehicle information.
Convenience features include a hands-free kick-motion power tailgate, front and rear heated seats, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel and remote rear-seat heating control.
The Actyon is equipped with an array of advanced driver-assistance systems from adaptive cruise control to lane-keeping assist and autonomous emergency braking, as well as a 3D 360 degree 'surround view' monitoring system to help with parking.
It is also covered with KGM's 5-year/100,000 mileage warranty and will be targeting the likes of the Vauxhall Grandland and Skoda Kodiaq.
