THE Renault Trafic has been turned into an off-grid, petrol-free campervan conversion by one of the UK's leading converting companies, Escape Campers Ltd.

The conversion stands out because of the full off-grid capability it is equipped with, meaning all features within the camper will run with no requirement to plug it in to an external electric unit.

Fully approved by Renault UK, the advanced campervan is currently making its debut at the Camping and Caravan show at the NEC in Birmingham.

The show starts runs until theFebruary 23, 2025. Escape Campers can be found at Stand 1056, Hall 1.

Escape Campers and Blue Light Services work in tandem to take manufacturers' new vans and transform them into off-the-shelf conversions that are made to order and customisable by the customer.

They are a fully approved Renault Van converter, and the warranty of 3 years or 100,000 miles on the new Trafic carries over to this conversion.

Escape Campers have over 10 years of experience in Renault conversion projects and the new Trafic lendsitself perfectly, with a high specification and low-cost base model.

These savings are then reflected in the competitive final completed cost of the campervan, which starts from £52,995.

Andy Burgess, general sales manager at Escape Campers, said: "Campervan demand has always been very high, but with the new recent movements in the market, there is a gap for other manufacturers to fill. The Renault fits the bill perfectly with its reliability, size and high specification base trim."

Johnny Fieldhouse, director of Blue Light Services, added: "With the New Renault Trafic being an affordable van, with plenty of space, we believe a campervan conversion is a better fit than ever for it. By demonstrating the camper at the Camping and Caravan Show, we want to tell the country about our story and let people know there is an off-the-shelf off-grid camper conversion you can buy today."
