MG is launching its eighth electric vehicle in the UK with the arrival of the MGS6 EV.
It's another SUV, joining the recently introduced IM6 SUV and will be available in both rear and all-wheel drive set-ups.
Two motor configurations are offered with the MGS6 EV SELong Rangebeing powered by a single motor delivering some 240bhp and with a range of 329 miles priced from £37,995.
A dual motor version which has almost 350bhp on tap managing 0 to 62mph in 5.1 seconds has a range of 301 miles and in Trophy specification costs from £43,995.
Trophy trim models on the single motor option are priced from £40,995.
All three have five drive modes with five regeneration modes, including One-Pedal driving and can be recharged from 10 to 80 per cent in 38 minutes from fast chargers.
The MGS6 EV is the third MG model to use MG's Modular Scalable Platform - first offered on the MG4 EV - and all variants feature a high definition 10.25-inch driver display and 12.8-inch infotainment screen.
The Trophy models also have a head up display showing key vehicle and safety information as well as navigation guidance.
Also featured in Trophy models are heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof as well as an 11-speaker audio system.
David Allison, head of product and planning for MG Motor UK, said: "The MGS6 EV is a significant new offering from MG, and our eighth all-electric car to be launched in our UK home market, building on proven cars like the MG4 EV hatchback but also drawing inspiration from our premium MGs like the dramatic Cyberster convertible."
With 674 litres of boot space available extending to 1,910 litres with the rear seats folded the MGS6 also has a front ‘frunk' that offers up to 124 litres of storage.
In total there are more than 30 storage and practicality features throughout the cabin, including a large compartment under the central console.
The MGS6 EV is already in receipt of a 5-Star Euro NCAP safety rating including a 92 per cent score for adult occupants and 84 per cent for vulnerable road users.
