Volvo cuts C30
sports coupe prices
VOLVO has cut the price of its popular C30 sports-coupe to a starting point of £14,995 on the road.
It means a £1,300 saving for buyers, something the Swedish company says is designed to allow customers to have a cost-effective model with the scope to create their own individual car.
The entry level 143PS C30 ES 2.0 petrol model comes with standard features like electronic climate control, 16-inch alloys, leather steering wheel and gearlever, Volvo's stability system, power windows, info centre, CD player with auxiliary input and passenger airbag cut-off switch.
And there are options and accessories available to specify a C30 to meet the exact needs of the buyer - from styling kits and tow bars to portable satnav systems and engine performance upgrades.
The C30 is now offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engines ranging from the 2.0 petrol to the T5 (230PS) and D2 (115PS) to the D4 (177PS).
The C30 also comes with varying levels of spec from the ES to SE Lux, including the sports derived R-Design trim and DRIVe fuel economy range producing just 99g/km of CO.
