SKODA has unveiled two limited edition versions of the Rapid hatchback, each with unique features and extra equipment claimed to be worth thousands.

First of the pair is the Rapid SE Connect based on the 1.2-litre TSI 86PS SE variant, but with the addition of extra value worth £3,665.

The enhanced spec includes one of two metallic paint choices - Brilliant Silver or Denim Blue - as well as 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and an Amundsen sat-nav with DAB digital radio.

This model is priced at £12,990 and restricted to just 800 vehicles.

Joining the Connect is the Rapid Sport, based on the 1.2-litre TSI 105PS SE version but including £1,250 worth of extra equipment.

Additional features here include 17-inch black alloy wheels, sunset glass, front fog lights, sports seats, steel pedals, black door mirrors and a rear spoiler.

The Rapid Sport is only available in a single exterior finish - Candy White - and is priced at £15,630. Only 200 cars will be available to UK customers, ensuring exclusivity.
