FERRARI is marking one of its most famous days on the race track with a limited run of special edition Dayton SP3 models each of which will have a price tag of around £2 million.

Just 599 examples will be produced and all have been allocated.

The Daytona SP3 is the latest in the brand's Icona series of cars and it will sit alongside the Monza SP1 and SP2.

The car celebrates the day in 1967 when the iconic brand took the first three places in the Daytona 24 hour race and the Daytona SP3 had its debut at the Mugello Circuit in Italy as part of the2021 Ferrari Finali Mondiali.

Powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine developing 829bhp, the Daytona SP3 is the first mid-engined Icona Ferrari and has blistering performance with a top speed of more than 210mph and a 0 to 62mph acceleration time of 2.85 seconds.

THE all-electric Nissan Leaf e+ has passed the comprehensive Green NCAP assessment securing the maximum five-star rating from the independent testing body.

Established to promote the development of cars that are clean, energy-efficient and kind to the environment, Green NCAP initiative awarded the LEAF e+ a string of high scores across its three testing parameters.

Put through its paces in real-world and laboratory tests according to thorough clean air, greenhouse gas and energy efficiency standards, the zero-emission LEAF e+ achieved a perfect rating in the first two assessments.

The LEAF e+ secured 9.9/10 for its impressive energy efficiency performance, with Green NCAP highlighting its innovative e-Pedal with regenerative energy technology.

SEAT has reached a milestone in the UK by notching up more than one million vehicle sales.

The millionth car, a SEAT Leon e-HYBRID, was registered by Pulman SEAT based in Sunderland and sold to a private customer.

The UK is SEAT's third largest market, after Spain and Germany, and it has sold cars here since September 1985.

The first models were the first-generation SEAT Ibiza and the Malaga saloon, with both models initially achieving a combined first year sales total of 405.

By comparison, SEAT sold 68,800 vehicles in 2019, a new UK record for the brand, and was one of the fastest growing major automotive manufacturers in the country. To date in 2021, SEAT sales have already passed 40,000, close to surpassing the full-year 2020 COVID-effected figures.

THE new Renault Kangoo van and the Mercedes-Benz Citan have been announced as joint winners of the International Van of the Year 2022.

The fifth generation Volkswagen Caddy finished runner-up with the Stellantis small electric vans along with the Toyota Proace City Electric third.

Upon appraising the new Kangoo and Citan, the judging panel heard about the multi-year collaborative project between Renault and Mercedes for the development of the Kangoo and Citan with each vehicle retaining its distinctive characteristics while sharing the same underpinnings.

THE latest generation Volkswagen Polo GTI is now available to order priced from £26,430.

The GTI follows the launch of the revised sixth-generation Polo range earlier this year, and takes pride of place as its flagship.

The new model features revised styling, more equipment and improved safety with its 2.0-litre turbo engine developing 207ps giving it a 0 to 62mph acceleration time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 149mph.

THE most powerful, quickest, and most capable Jeep Wrangler ever produced is to be sold in the UK by luxury car specialists Clive Sutton.

The V8 powered Rubicon 392 which has 470bhp on tap will be priced from £105,000.

While retaining all Jeep's legendary off-road abilities, the special Wrangler can manage 0 to 60mph in 4.5 seconds.

The vehicle will not be sold officially in the UK by Jeep and Clive Sutton said:"The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 is the perfect example of how we bring unique vehicles to UK buyers.
