INTERNATIONAL Motors Limited, the Midlands-based automotive distributor, is to sell vehicles made by German electric vehicle brand B-ON in the United Kingdom.

The electric commercial vehicle company recently made an appearance at the Commercial Vehicle Show held in Birmingham and by the end of 2023 Solihull-based International Motors plans to have 25 British dealerships offering B-ON models.

Further expansion is planned in 2024.

Dealerships have the opportunity to offer the B-ON Max and Giga models in two different trim levels, BOX and PURE.

The BOX model comes fitted with a large cargo box, while the PURE provides just the van's chassis frame, allowing volume versatility for customised cargo solutions.

Both vehicles have been used in the German market by Deutsche Post for the last six years, covering more than 250 million miles.

The Deutsche Post fleet is the largest eLCV fleet in the world with more than 24,000 vehicles on the road.

B-ON UK business development manager, Ian Armstrong, said: "With our extensive expertise in automotive distribution and a deep commitment to sustainability, we are confident that the B-ON franchise will revolutionise the electric light commercial vehicle landscape in the United Kingdom.

"We are actively seeking forward-thinking dealerships to join us on this exciting journey, and together, we will shape the future of last-mile delivery across the UK."
