Stellantis LCV line-up at Ellesemere Port factory, 2023

STELLANTIS LCV brands have launched a new e-LCV Grant, offering an additional £2,500 incentive on small and medium electric vans from Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat Professional.

The new financing is on top of the existing government grant for electric vans, worth up to £5,000 - meaning customers could get up to £7,500 off a new electric van.

The Stellantis e-LCV Grant also includes a free home wallbox installation and £400 credit on an Octopus Electroverse card, delivering up to 2,500 miles of public charging from over 500,000 chargers across the UK and Europe.

Tony Lewis, LCV director for Stellantis UK, said: "With zero-emissions-in-use, a refined driving experience and exemption from current congestion and emissions zone charges, electric vans offer fantastic benefits, particularly for drivers operating in urban areas. The Stellantis e-LCV Grant is designed to provide an all-round package for electric van drivers, making it even more attractive for fleets and businesses looking to go electric."

Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen and Fiat Professional are among the few brands to offer a fully electric variant across their entire LCV line-ups, with Stellantis accounting for 54.3 per cent of all electric vans sold in the UK year-to-date.

More than one-in-four electric vans sold in the UK so far in 2023 has been a Vauxhall Vivaro Electric, making it the UK's best-selling e-LCV.

The e-LCV Grant applies to stock vehicles only.

The list of eligible models includes the Vauxhall Combo Electric, Peugeot e-Partner, Citroen e-Berlingo and Fiat Professional E-Doblo, with production of these vans recently getting underway at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire, the UK's first EV-only manufacturing plant.

Those looking for a medium electric van see the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric, Peugeot e-Expert, Citroen e-Dispatch and Fiat Professional E-Scudo also eligible for the grant.

The free home wallbox available alongside the Stellantis e-LCV Grant will be supplied by Ohme or Free2Move eSolutions and is compatible with the MyVauxhall, MyPeugeot, MyCitroen and Fiat apps.

The wallbox installation is managed by Octopus, with users also able to benefit from an optional Octopus energy tariff. If a customer already has a wallbox installed, they will instead receive a £750+VAT customer deposit contribution towards their new van.

The Stellantis e-LCV Grant is available on all purchase and lease options, including outright purchase, conditional sale/hire purchase, finance lease or business contract hire through Leasys, ensuring all customers making the switch to electric can benefit.

The offer applies to orders placed on stock vehicles until December 31, 2023.
