THE sporty N Line S version of the Hyundai i20 supermini will be priced from £24,180, the company has announced.

Semi-automatic variants will cost from £25,430 - the same as the i20 in high specification Ultimate trim.

All i20 N Line S models are powered by a 1.0 turbocharged T-GDi engine which develops 100ps and give the car a 0 to 62mph acceleration time of 11.1 seconds for the manual model and 12.1 seconds for the dual clutch version. Top speeds are 114 and 112mph respectively.

The sporty, top-level specification builds on the previous i20 N Line trim, which included N Line exterior and interior design package, rear spoiler with integrated LED brake light, N Line leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob black N Line cloth seat trim with red stitch detail, LED daytime running lights, headlights and taillights, keyless entry with start/stop button, a 10.25-inch drivers supervision instrument cluster and 10.25-inch touchscreen satellite navigation with Mapcare, LIVE services, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Additional features for N Line S include bespoke design 17-inch black N Line alloy wheels, multi-colour ambient lighting, heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, wireless phone charging, heated steering wheel, over-the-air map updates, a BOSE Premium sound system and front and rear USB-C ports.

Standard safety equipment on the i20 N Line S includes driver, front, side and curtain airbags, lane keep assist lane follow assist, anti-lock brake system, forward collision avoidance assist, intelligent speed limit assist, autonomous emergency braking and type pressure monitoring system.

Fuel economy and emissions data for the new i20 range is still to be released.
