VISITORS from around the UK and the rest of the world flocked to visit Concours on Savile Row at London's famous tailoring street.

More than 50 cars and bikes were on display, from rare classics to modern high-performance motors and fully electric vehicles.

The event was opened by Robert Rigby, Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Westminster, who said: "It is a great honour to be here today, at my first outdoor event as Lord Mayor. Concours on Savile Row showcases both tailoring and automobiles and I would like to thank the manufactures, partners and car owners who have joined us and the tailors of Savile Row to display some of the most amazing cars ever built."

The Callum Skye, the first own brand vehicle fully developed in-house by the British design and engineering business Callum, was unveiled to the public for the first time at the concours, displayed outside Edward Sexton's store.

The high-performance, all-wheel-drive, multi-terrain electric vehicle was announced in November 2023.

H. Huntsman and Sons and Hagerty Insurance presented a unique insight into a rock legend with the 1939 Lagonda LG6 Rapide, owned by the late Rolling Stones' drummer Charlie Watts exhibited outside Huntsman and his suits on display inside the tailors.

A personal discussion about Charlie Watts took place in the Huntsman lounge. It was hosted by renowned automotive expert Simon Taylor, along with Dario Carnera, head cutter at Huntsman, and Paul Sexton, author of the official Charlie Watts biography.

Watts' Lagonda had not been seen in over 40 years. This model of Lagonda was one of very few machines able to exceed 100mph prior to World War Two - which ended production of the LG6 Rapide, leaving this car one of only six ever produced.

Also, a replica of John Lennon's Rolls-Royce-Phantom V, which was regularly seen outside Apple at 3 Savile Row in the 1960s, was hosted by Daniel Hanson. The moving work of art on display is identical to the design painted by Steve Weaver via JP Fallon, that Lennon commissioned for £290 in 1967.

Concours on Savile Row shows the famous street at its very best, celebrating British style and craftsmanship and is supported by Westminster City Council, The Pollen Estate, and sponsors EFG Private Bank, Aranyani, Hagerty, Royal Academy of Arts, Blick Rothenberg and Magneto magazine.

This year's event took place on May 22 and 23.
